Immunobiology, Sixth Edition is an introductory text for use in
immunology courses for undergraduates, graduate students and medical
students. Immunobiology guides the reader through the immune system in
all its aspects - from the first engagement of innate immunity to the
generation of the adaptive immune response and its clinical
consequences. In this new Sixth Edition, the chapter plan remains
essentially the same as the previous edition, although the order of
topics within some of the chapters has been altered to place related
material together. Each chapter has been updated to incorporate new
observations that extend our knowledge and understanding of the immune
system. All chapters now end with a number of discussion questions
relating to the topics described within the chapter.
Immunobiology Interactive, a CD-ROM packaged with the book, contains
